INVENTORY MONITORING WITH AUTOMATED REPLENISHMENT

A company would like to automatically replenish inventory (in this case chemical tanks) for their customers utilizing a VMI strategy.  Inventory levels are polled by the company every hour and the inventory information is collected and stored in their inventory management system.  Utilizing Xagent Alerts©; the company can monitor the tank level for the optimal reorder level and automatically create a replenishment order for the customer.  In this scenario; two alerts are generated.  One alert to create the order and one alert to notify the account representative that the customer’s tank was low and an order was created to replenish it.
